Yes — the festival bus runs from Bengaluru. This is priced separately and can be availed while buying your ticket.

Our transportation assistance is for pick up and drop off at Bengaluru only. If you are coming from another city, we encourage you to travel to Bengaluru first and get on the festival bus with the rest.

ŪRU 4.0 has nine ways to stay — from shared tents to private cottages: The Duo, The Wanderer, The Commune, The Outpost, The Minimalist, The Apex, The Mud House, The Float, and The Canopy. Full details for each are on the Venue page and the Tickets page.

Shared tents & cottages will be randomly allocated based on a system that will correspond with your ticket number. The only way to ensure that you get to share with your friends is if you nominate them while booking the ticket.

Yes — every stay has toilets and bathrooms, but how they're shared depends on your tier:

• The Duo & The Wanderer (camping): common shared bathrooms and toilets (gender neutral) are available
• The Commune: shared outdoor facilities — 3 showers, 5 toilets
• The Outpost: shared outdoor facilities — 2 showers, 3 toilets
• The Minimalist: shared outdoor facilities — 3 toilets, 2 showers
• The Apex & The Mud House: attached bathroom, shared only by the occupants of the cottage
• The Float: outdoor private bathroom, shared only by the occupants of The Float
• The Canopy: toilet at the treetop, private bathroom at the base

Jio, Airtel, and BSNL give excellent network coverage at the venue. Vodafone's coverage is poor. There is no Wi-Fi at the property.

If you are camping, you will have access to limited charging docks at the reception area. Please bring your own power bank so that you don't have to rely on these limited charging stations.

No. ŪRU 4.0 is an alcohol-free festival. There is no liquor at the property, and alcohol cannot be brought in.

No. You are free to explore the surroundings during the day time. But the festival gates will be locked at night as we have to be mindful of the neighbours.

No, there are no lockers available. Please do not bring any valuables. ŪRU Festival or the venue will not take any responsibility for lost items.

No. This is a strictly cash-only festival. Please bring sufficient cash with you. Your debit cards, credit cards, or UPI will not work at the property.

Yes. Your ticket includes food and refreshments. Outside of the meals that your ticket includes, you will have the option to buy snacks and hot beverages on site.

We depend on your tickets to cover our upfront costs, so paying in instalments is not available as an option. However, if you are facing financial difficulties, please reach out to our team and we will work with you to help you be a part of the festival.

Yes. If you're unable to attend the festival, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. To do so, please email us at urufestival@gmail.com with the following information:

• A copy of your ticket
• The name of the person you're transferring the ticket to

Please note that ŪRU Festival will not be responsible for any financial obligations or arrangements between you and the ticket transferee. The transfer is solely between you and the new ticket holder.

This Festival is a labour of love, which love has also translated to financial investment from all our visitors through purchase of tickets. It is made possible only through immutable planning and arrangements made months in advance. Thus, no refund upon cancellation of tickets or failure to attend, regardless of the underlying reason, can be provided.

However, the Festival Organiser reserves the final right to grant leniency based on extraordinary situations, and leniency in favour of any one visitor does not accrue a right or parity in favour of others.

Due to the uneven and rough terrain, we recommend that you bring only backpacks or bags with sturdy straps. Suitcases with wheels are not suitable for our venue, as they will be damaged on the rough paths. Your cooperation will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

Your safety and well-being are our top priority at ŪRU. We're equipped to handle medical emergencies with:

• A fully stocked first-aid kit on site.
• On-call medical professionals available for immediate assistance.
• A designated cab and driver on standby to transport you to the nearest hospital, if needed.

The festival venue is home to leeches and insects. Please don't worry if you encounter any — simply alert our organizers or venue staff, and we'll safely remove them.

To minimize encounters:

• Wear socks and closed-toe shoes when outdoors
• Carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you

If you find a leech attached to your skin: remain calm, spray a small amount of hand sanitizer on the leech, and it should detach.

Your festival pass includes delicious vegetarian meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with two exceptions: Thursday, when only dinner is included (breakfast and lunch are on you before you arrive), and the final day, Sunday 6th December, when only breakfast is included.

You will have the option to buy snacks and hot beverages on site. Please carry cash for any purchases.

Please note that the venue does not have ATM or UPI facilities. To ensure a smooth experience, kindly bring sufficient cash to cover any additional expenses, such as snacks, refreshments and any other incidentals.

We recommend carrying enough cash for the duration of the festival to avoid any inconvenience.

Please be mindful of your personal belongings and valuables during the festival. We recommend packing light and leaving expensive items at home.
