Rhea Lopez - Workshop on Re-imagining Maps

Rhea Lopez is a conservation ecologist and storyteller, who explores, researches, writes about and maps human-nature interactions in India. She is happiest walking along a river, smelling pine, listening to people's stories, observing wildlife, or tasting a particularly salty mangrove leaf. She currently works with the Veditum India Foundation.
Explore the science and art of cartography through conversations about maps, and interactive, collaborative mapmaking. Renegotiate how we interact with landscapes, how we understand maps, and how we document the spaces we occupy.
