Aahvaan Project by Vedi Aahvaan
Conversations through stories & music
Aahvaan’s yatra began in late 2015 and quickly transformed into a conduit of conversations through stories and music. Over the course of the last year, they have created a brand-new show bringing the philosophies and ideas of love closer to our modern lives – both linguistically and in terms of sound. With this project, they seek to encourage reflection-un learning and love, socially and personally in our fast paced, anxious and fear based modern world. Vedi Sinha is a writer, storyteller, vocalist, and performer based in New Delhi. She began the Aahvaan Project as a way to explore the relevance of nirgun philosophy in the world we live in today. Through workshops based on folk music and storytelling and performances big and small. Aahvaan has created safe spaces with a wider range of communities, educational institutions, and art spaces. Aahvaan Project will be performing at ŪRU for a magical evening session of storytelling through music.
